Study Sunshine Coast is delighted to launch the next round of Free Student Employability Workshops. The five workshop series will commence on Tuesday February 25th 2020 with a session focussed on career planning and resume and cover letter writing.
The workshops have been designed to assist local students develop and improve their employability skills complimenting what they are learning in their studies and giving them an edge to enter the highly competitive workforce either during or post study. The workshops will cover a range of content including Building your LinkedIn profile, Interview Skills and preparation and understanding the Australian and Sunshine Coast work culture.
Study Sunshine Coast Manager, Marina Murray said “we have received feedback from students and education institutions these workshops are a valuable resource so in conjunction with Study Queensland we are proud to offer these to Sunshine Coast students.
“Students can learn valuable skills to compliment what they are learning in their studies and also have the opportunity to network with fellow students.”
Not only will students have the chance to upskill they will also receive free pizza as part of each workshop. Students can sign up to one or multiple workshops, there is not commitment to have to do them all unless they want to.
