Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced further good news regarding Queensland residents power bills. “More than 2.1 million Queensland households have already received a $200 rebate on their power bills to help ease cost of living pressures, with another 500,000 South East Queensland households set to see it on their next bill.
“In September, we are bringing forward another $50 credit to cut Queenslanders’ energy costs, meaning households will save a total of $250 on their power bills this year,” Palaszczuk said.
The Premier said that the global coronavirus pandemic means many Queensland families are facing financial stresses they have not seen before. “Our COVID-19 economic relief package for households is part of our plan for economic recovery.”
