Mountain Creek State High School is one of the most highly regarded schools on the Sunshine Coast and has an excellent reputation for outstanding achievements in academic, cultural, leadership, community and sporting programs. The school offers a range of programs which provide multiple pathways for the full range of students enrolled. These programs include a focus on Science, Health Science and Engineering, Zenith, Young Scholars and Young Achievers’ programs in the middle school, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) in the senior school, and a wide variety of sporting development programs including Volleyball, Basketball, Rugby League and AFL. The school teaches two languages Japanese and Spanish in both the QCAA curriculum and the IBDP however other languages are supported through the School of Distance Education.
