Recently students from St Joseph Primary School Nambour (winners of the Sunshine Coast Council ‘s 2020 Get Ready Disaster Preparedness Schools Competition) and Sunshine Coast Council’s Disaster Resilience Officer, Lynda Williams, visited 7NEWS Sunshine Coast studios in preparation for the airing of their TVC for Get Ready Week.
The students were treated to a complete tour of the premises, able to quizz the Producers, and watched news presenter Rosanna Natoli and Meteorologists and weather presenter Livio Regano record news segments.
“We have such generous personalities and businesses here on the coast! My respect goes to their commitment to our young people’s learning experience,” Williams said.
